Several years ago, Pi Kappa Delta began soliciting major external gifts in preparation
for its 100th Anniversary. After making several smaller gifts, a major donor offered to
match, dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000.00 per year every dollar Pi Kappa Delta raises
from individual contributions from 2010-2018. If the match is successful each year,
the donor has agreed to extend the matching gift for an additional two years.

The gift pledge was unrestricted, and as a result of this matching challenge, Pi
Kappa Delta has the opportunity to raise approximately $100,000 over the next
decade. The realization of this goal will go a long way toward ensuring that future
generations of students will benefit from training in forensics with an emphasis
on "the art of persuasion, beautiful and just."

You can double the impact of your gift by contributing to Pi Kappa Delta during the
matching gift challenge,. If your company also has a matching gift program, your
gift will be tripled. Thus far, significant progress has been made toward reaching
