Why form an Alumni Chapter?

Pi Kappa Delta Alumni Chapters provide valuable service opportunities for
those interested in continuing there connection to the forensics community.
In addition to serving as an advocate for local chapters, Alumni Chapters
form the basis of a mentoring network.  Many Alumni Chapters support
their local chapters by:

*Judging at local tournaments;

*Recruiting forensics students by writing letters, attending high school
tournaments and meeting with students and parents;

*Conducting fundraisers or participating in scholarship drives;

*Writing annual letters to Department Chairs and key Administrators
reminding them of the importance of forensics.

Contact your local chapter or a member of the Charter and Standards Committee
 to learn more about forming an Alumni Chapter.

The best reason to start an Pi Kappa Delta Alumni Chapter is to preserve the history and
tradition of your forensics squad for future generations of students.
